Synchronizing Entourage between laptop & G5

I have been copying and deleting my "Microsoft User Data" folder
between my G5 and laptop in order to maintain the same database and
structures whenever I'm on either machine.
I have noticed recently though that the folder size seems to be
growing by nearly a gigabyte each time I copy it between the machines.

Is this the proper way to keep these two synchronized?

What might be causing the size to be increasing so much?

I appreciate any help or suggestions provided.

Hi Ross,

Perform a database rebuild once and check.

You can do this by holding the Option key while you launch Entourage. This
will rebuild the database and recover space.
