Synchronizing Entourage

I use an application called Synchronize to keep my laptop and desktops
identical. I just upgraded to OSX, and when I try to sync my two machines,
it's skipping my Entourage files because something's open. But all my
Microsoft apps are closed.

In my Login Items folder there's an entry called "Microsoft Database Daemon"
with an Entourage icon. I'm sure that's the culprit, but I can't find any
info about it in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

I want to take it out of Login Items, but I'm sure it's there for a reason.

What is it, what does it do, and what will happen when I remove it?

When you respond, please cc [email protected].

Thanks,

Alicia

It's the Office Notifications Alicia. Easiest is to turn it off in the
Entourage menu before you quit. When you relaunch E'rage, it should remind
you to turn it back on.
