Syncing Entourage 2004 between Home/Laptop

I recently purchased Office 2004 for my desktop mac and would like to
sync the entourage data with my powerbook that's already running Office
2004. i read an older article related to entourage X about copying the
indentity folders and tried that already. it worked, but it won't
automatically update new calendar events that i add. in the 'help'
section of entourage it only lays out how to sync calendars, etc. with
an exchange server account. is there any way to sync my home computer
to my laptop with automatic updates other than copying the identity
folder every day?

gerald - i would recommend using exchange server (hosted providers
plenty if you dont have your own) since it works quite well with the
latest entourage and keeps multiple copies (on win an osx) sync'd
nicely. if you use POP or a similar non-IMAP approach then you will
face difficutly maintaining them IMO.

good luck

what steps would i take to set up exchange server? i've used one
before through institutions but do not have any experience with setting
one up and wouldn't have a clue as to the first place to start?
