I would like to sync all my Entourage information into Outlook. While I am sure there is probably an easy way to do this I am not sure how. I want to sync all my contacts and calendar, notes, etc. information.

Thanks for the assistance.

I would like to sync all my Entourage information into Outlook. While
I am sure there is probably an easy way to do this I am not sure how.
I want to sync all my contacts and calendar, notes, etc. information.

I've seen no software that runs on either Mac or Windows that syncs
everything. Typically, this is handled by an Exchange Server.

Several service providers offer hosted Exchange solutions for reasonable
monthly fees. This list is by no means exhaustive
<http://www.microsoft.com/serviceproviders/solutions/catalog.aspx>.

You may be able to accomplish this with MobileMe, Apple's new offering
that's billed as "Exchange for the rest of us". It's not Exchange but
does sync Outlook's mail, calendar and contacts to the servers.
Entourage can connect directly to mail, however, you'd need to enable
syncing from Entourage for calendar and contacts so that the Apple
Address Book and iCal get the data. Data from Address Book and iCal will
sync with MobileMe.

If you try to using syncing then I suggest you remove all calendars from
iCal and leave just the Entourage calendar, which is the only calendar
that syncs with Entourage.

Finally, no solution that I've seen will sync Notes and Tasks. Entourage
itself has no ability to sync these items with any server.

Hope this helps!

Is there a way to export the information from Entourage, put it on a stick and then import it into Outlook. This would seem to be possible since both programs are similar and made by Microsoft.

I already have Entourage syncing with iCal and Address Book so that these will sync with my iPhone via iTunes. The iPhone syncs with no problem, so I know it is working fine.

Thanks

Not really. Entourage doesn't support PST files and outlook doesn't
support Entourage archives.
In addition, that would allow you to take data to the other computer,
but it wouldn't be a sync per se.

You can drag and drop contacts and events to the Finder to get vcf ics
file. You can also do this for messages to get .elm (which might import
in Outlook - I haven't tried), but that's going to be really tedious -
especially if you have a large number of items to want to take along.
