syncing entourage between laptop and desktop

Meg

hi,

I have been a PC user (don't yell) and have used a program called ShareO to
share my data on 2 computers. So a calendar entry on 1 computer would
show up on the other computer. Now I will have 1 Mac and 1 PC and am
wondering if there is ANY way to share this info. Eventually we will have
only Macs and will need to share the data on those as well...but for now..

any suggestions would be helpful

Wellllllllll, you could take your Identity database from one computer to
the other, but tha'ts hardly synching since you have to replace one with
the other every time.
You could store the identity on a Mac-formatted flashdrive, with a
symlink in the Microsoft User Data folder, but I would stand clear from
that option.

Really, the best at this point, if you don;t have an Exchange account,
would be to use IMAP. All e-mails are stored on the server and
accessible from both computers. Of course, "On my COmputer" e-mail is
not syncable through this approcah.

If you have .Mac, you can use it to also sync address book and calendar
(after activating SyncServices in the preferences) between the two.

Are you trying to keep everything synched or just one portion of them
synced? I have used plaxo to sync everything before.
