syncing with treo

I have had this problem now with two consecutive Palm devices. I run
the hot-sync, and all Calendar events go from the palm to the
computer, and disappear from the palm. Then, after I run another
hot-sync, it seems fine, as both will have the information., Except,
now, I started ot realize that when I assign a category in Entourage,
it will not sync the second time around, or ever!
Also, tasks that I put into my new treo will not appear in entourage,
no matter what!
Any advice..
I already tried messing around with all of the conduit settings??
PLease help!!!

I think, solution should be in Conduit settings only.
When you go to Conduit settings, you see "synchronize" next to each sync
items like Address Book etc. When you click on that drop down button, you
have two more options:
1. Entourage overwrites Handheld
2. Handheld overwrites Entourage.
If you have cteated categories, you can also make sttings to sync category
wise.
