Syncronize with Lotus Notes

I want to be able to use Outlook 97 for my e-mail and
calender, but my office uses Lotus Notes. I know this is
possible in later versions of Outlook, but we are still
using 97. Is this possible with 97? Please e-mail me
your answer.

Just check for Outlook 97 connect and download the connectivity to Lotus Domino Server. You will then be able to synchronise with Lotus.
PS. you need to have the lotus Notes for client installed already and accessed it atleast once

Good luck

No, not possible that I know of. If your office has standardized on Notes,
you probably shouldn't do anything to change the client side anyway, as the
IT staff have to support it....

Downloading the outlook connectivity does not change any settin of the lotus client. The client will carry on working. the connect software will only read your profile from Lotus ID and adds it to outlook.
If at any stage you decided to use Lotus as premanent option you could carry as if you never used outlook before. In term of IT support, the problems with outlook would be your responsiblity and they probably will support you if you use Lotus

ps. Sometimes if you are nice to them they will help you with outlook as well.
