Table size help please

P

Phil Joseph

I have a table 3 colums by 24 rows.

Some of the rows need to be squashed up and are there purely for spacing.

However, I cant get the rows to shrink down under a certain amount, or to
put it another way, if this newsgroup text was in a table, I need some of
the cells to be around 1/3 the vertical size of the text (not using text,
they will be empty) but it's defaulting to standard text size.

Hope thats clear.

Any suggestions please?

best

Phil

I don't know if this will work or not, but try putting a space or two in
the cell, then formatting it at 6 point text or something very small
like that.

Or use your line spacing options (Format/Line Spacing) to align the
cells which actually have text and remove these extraneous cells. The
table toolbar also gives you some options for vertical alignment, which
may help a bit.
