In a template normally used in Word 2002, I've set up our default table
style
with a left-hand indent of 1cm (Modify Styles->Format->Table
Properties->Table->"Indent from Left".)
When I apply the table style to a table, it is normally initially indented
correctly. However, if text
is later added - or if the document is simply reopened, the table loses its
indent - or rather, jumps left
1cm (and become indented on the _right_ hand side).
Does anyone know why this might be happening? I thought it might have
something to do
with the "Automatically resize to fit contents" option; however, when
creating/editing a style,
this is greyed out. You appear only to be able to set it on a table by table
basis.
Does know anyone know how "hard" indents can be set? I'd ideally like to
make it difficult/impossible
for table to lose their indents, whether automatically or manually.
Thanks,
P.
