Task notification won't appear

I restart entourage and expect my task notifications to pop up, but they
never do. I have to search my task folder to find the tasks I need to do
that day. Any suggestions on why this happens?

Do you see calendar notifications pop up, or do those not appear either?
If not, under the Entourage menu, choose "Turn On Office Notifications".

Please note that in Entourage X, the Notifications function is system-wide,
so you receive notifications exactly when you request them provided the
machine is on, whether Entourage is running or not. It's not like 2001
where all of your queued notifications show up on launching the application.

One other thing, you won't receive a reminder on tasks unless you check the
"Reminder" box and set a date & time in the Task editing window.
