When I have one or more Outlook items open (doesn't
matter which kind - an email, a contact, etc.) switching
between them -- and other apps becomes unbearably slow
(10 or more seconds, and sometimes when I click on the
2nd or 3rd one, Outlook and even XP hangs).
I have turned off instant messaging.
My .pst file is close to a gig large, some 11,000 files.
My computer:
Compaq Presario, Windows XP, Pentium IV 2.33 Mhz, 1 Gig
of freakin RAM - you'd think that this would help.
Please advise.
