Task which doesn't take from the hour pool

I have some subtasks which takes about 40 hours, and therefore has to put
into project with the amount of hours they use, but the hours the process
use, shouldnt be counted in the total task hour count´, since there are no
people resources added to the task.


How can i do this ?

I don't fully unserstand your question. How can people enter the hours they
use if there are no people resources for the task? More explanation, perhas
with an example of what you're trying to achieve.
