Tasks crashing

All is working fine in entourage until I click on the tasks icon. The
program then freezes. I'm not able to access, view, or edit tasks.

If I open MY DAY, I see "task1" repeated over and over.

If I print a calander and choose to include tasks, it will print them.

I have tried rebuilding to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Using Entourage 2008.

Also seems like the tasks might be in a self duplication cycle - over and
over and over......

1) Move your current Identity to the Shared folder "/Users/Shared"
2) Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts.
3) Switch to the New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching.
4) Open Entourage and let it create a new Microsoft User Data folder
5) Rename the Main Identity to Default Main
6) Drag your Identity to the Office 2008 Identities folder
7) Test your Identity for the problem
8) If the problem goes away, it's preferences in your User's folder. See

9) If the problem exists, then test in the new Default Main Identity
10) If the problem goes away then it's your Identity. Sometimes rebuild does
not fix the problem and you have to move into a new Identity.
11) If the problem still exists, it's your base OS files. Step one is to try
the combo updater. If that fails, you need to do an "Archive & Install".
