Tasks:sub sorting

Is there a way to sort tasks like you would in excel? Or does anyone
know if this is on the New Feature Request List?

I want to sort tasks by Due Date of course, but 2nd by Catagory
(project). Currently I am enter all tasks into Entourage, then every
Monday I take the weeks tasks, copy them to excel and do the Primary
(date) and Secondary (catagory) sort within. It works, but is pain.

If you are using Entourage 2004 this is possible with 'grouping'. Take a
look at the 'custom arrangements' options under the 'View; Arrange By' menu.

I saw this and thought 'that'd be great'. But 'arange by' is greyed out
in the tasks view. It's there in the mail window. A I missing something?

Nope. It seems to be not implemented for tasks :(

You might want to look at my "Entourage Today" app from

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

It does secondary sorting of tasks (in Preferences) but not by category:
just by Date, Task Name, and Priority. I've had a few requests previously
for Category (which _is_ displayed by color) so I might do that in an update
sometime.
