Tasks / To Do in Entourage - how to make reoccurring?

I'm new to Entourage but used Outlook fo years...I can't seem to make reocurring tasks appear on a daily basis. I set them up to be reocurring but the next day they are not on my task list...help please...

A recurring task will appear on the first day you make it due. To have it
show up again on the next day, you must mark the previous copy of it
complete. The instant you do, it will replicate itself for the next day.

You need to set it us as Custom then check when task is complete, create a
new task.
