Teaching Junk recognition

Should I expect Entourage to automatically send to the Junk folder emails
originating from senders whose previous emails I have identified as Junk?
Because it doesn¹t seem to do so.

In other words is the Junk button just there to effect an automatic transfer
from Inbox to Junk rather than to ³teach² the filter as in Outlook?

No. Microsoft can (and does) periodically update the filter, but it is not
trainable. You can use custom rules and block lists for that.
