Hi There,
Before anything else, I'd like to thank you for giving the time to
help me out.
My question is: I just got my Verizon DSL and I would like to know how
to access my e-mail through telnet. I did a research already but none
of them worked. Here's what I do:
telnet outgoing.verizon.net 25
220 out006.verizon.net ESMTP server (InterMail vM.5.01.05.33
201-253-122-126-133
-20030313) ready Sun, 24 Aug 2003 23:41:34 -0500
auth login "myscreennamehere"
334 UGFzc3dvcmQ6
"mypasswordhere"
535 Authentication failed
I do not know what to do. I am able to read my e-mail through telnet
incoming.verizon.net 110
I just type
user "myscreennamehere"
pass "mypassword here"
and it works. But I can't seem to send e-mail. PLEASE HELP! I'LL
APPRECIATE IT.
