temp files?

I was wondering if anyone can help me,
I’m having trouble with copying files to the A:\ drive (Windows 2000, SPK4).
There is a temp file that is created when saving to the A:\ drive and it is
trying to debug the file.

This freezes the computer and it will not stop or shut down when I use the
Task Manager, the only solution is to power down the PC manually.

replace the original Windows 2000 "Rollup Update" with the recently
corrected version.
