Template

I was just fooling around and created a template in Powerpoint 2000 now how
do I get rid of it completely?
I have gotten rid of everything with the name of the template but it still
shows up in the "open files" box but when I click it it says it is
unavailable. How do I get it out of the "open files" box?

I think I'll just leave well enough alone, that's more trouble than
