Hi Patrick!
Create a new mail message. Make sure Format --> HTML is selected. Then
select Message --> Insert --> Background Picture...

select Message --> Insert --> Background Picture...

Hi Patrick!
Yes, Entourage does have a size limit of 400k for jpeg images.
Why are you trying to use a 4MB file as a background image? That's
*huge*! I have no idea who you're sending to but if it were my work
account then your message would take 4% of my 100MB mailbox quota and if
it were a dial-up account then I'd be waiting a few minutes just for
your message to download. And I wouldn't be able to download other
messages that follow yours until yours was complete.
Unless you have an absolute need to have a background then I suggest
always using *plain text* over *html*. Plain text is about 1/4 the size
of HTML, which makes it faster to deliver and receive.
Again, I don't know your intended recipients but do consider their
E-mail limitations.

The examples that were provided by Microsoft were from 4-56 KB. I have
uploaded them here. Use them as an example of how to create your own.
