According to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/server/howtobuy/pricing/licensoffice.asp :
"A license is not required for the copy [of MS Office] installed on the
Terminal Server since it is necessary for distribution of the Software to
the properly licensed devices."
Since we do not have to buy a separate copy of every instance on every
server (because the licensing is required only on the client PC), we are
using one CD for all installations.
Problem: Product activation. Each time Office is installed, it must be
activated. We're deploying one server at a time, usually 1 or 2 per month
at most, meaning we're not a huge company that can take advantage of
no-activation corporate/volume licensing.
How do we install on terminal server, without going through repeated
activations?
