(note: i tried posting this earlier - thus this may be a repeat)
HELP!! all input welcome.
my user identity is at 3+ gigs - i was on MS office 10.1 and the limit
was at 2gigs - apparently i could limp on for some time that way...
today as new emails came in...my mail went buggy.
i could not rebuild the database (typical or advanced) so i downloaded
10.1.5 MS office update which included service pack 1 (allowing for 4
gig profiles).
then i rebuilt the database and relaunched...which gave me a new
identity with very badly mushed mail records - last four months of
mail gone...but most recent changes to my folders all current (but no
recent mail in them).
my old identity is there when i wish to switch - but locked up. i can
at times view old email in my inbox subfolder that contained NO unread
mail...it appears all new mail in my inbox is listed as unread but i
cannot access the mail.
the only thing the system has ever reported is "Mail could not open
that feature. Mail error."
what i'd like to do is somehow move specific email subfolders to a
safe place (and hopefully reduce the size of my identity) and then
rebuild again...
any help from the community would be great.
