Test User responses for further actions

Trainer Guy

I am using a very basic way for CBT users to answer a question in my course
through the use of "Triggers". The answer can be one or more boxes clicked
that displays a checkmark in that box. I am wondering is there a fairly
intuitive way for me to "test" what boxes have the triggers displayed so I
can branch to another slide and supply feedback to the user? I suspect the
answer is going to have something to do with Visual basic or some other
involved "scripting", about which I am not very up to speed.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I think you answered your own question. I think the only way to do this
is with VBA scripting. You might check out some examples from my site:

However, none of them do quite what you are looking for, but my site can
get you started with VBA and using that for simple quizzes.

I have a sample you can download and check out. basically you can control
the flow of the presentation using VBA, test understanding of knowledge
afterwards, and even send that information to an Access database or send an
e-mail upon completion (all automatically).
