Text in email is jibberish...

I'm receiving email from an English-language Yahoo!Group that is jibberish.

When I view the message in the view pane, it's jibberish, but when I hit
reply, the text is normal and readable again...but not until I REPLY to one
of the jibberish emails.

The words are all jumbled and I'm wondering if anyone has any clue as to how
to correct this?

Thanks!

There are certain types of "complex HTML" (including some Microsoft
documents!) which appear this way. If you uncheck "Display complex HTML in
messages" in Entourage/Preferences/Security/HTML, you won't see the
gibberish. But you'll also miss some formatting (columns and other things
requiring HTML tables) and the option to "Download pictures" if you do that
- a lot more common than the few messages showing up as gibberish.

It will probably be corrected in a later release or update of Entourage.

Please "Reply To Newsgroup" to reply to this message. Emails will be
ignored.

PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using -
**2004**, X or 2001. It's often impossible to answer your questions
otherwise.

Yeah, it only seems to be from Yahoo!Groups email messages... I dunno why.
I'll work around it... I don't wanna give up HTML previews.

Thanks for the heads-up.
