How do I edit-out unacceptable text in the odd slides which are part of a PPS
email that I have received and wish to pass on AFTER editing?

Open PowerPoint.
Click File > Open.
Select the .pps file and click OK.
Click save after you have done editing.

BovR,
Save your pps to your hard drive. Rename the file from pps to ppt, start it
up and change everything you want, resave as a pps.

No need to rename the file if you open it with PowerPoint.
