Text is pasted on the top of the slide

I am developing a course and I m trying to copy the text from the word file and paste it into PPTX files version 2013. If I use source formatting while pasting, sometimes it is pasting properly and sometimes it is pasting on the top of the slide as the image attached. Kindly help I don't know whether it is a issue with 2013, with PPT or word.
