the hyperlink doesn't work in my presentation?

I have two presentations that I have hyperlinked together but when I put them
in the slideshow mode they don't work. I am sure I have linked them
correctly.

Can someone give me any suggestions on what is wrong.

Probably the path or file name is too long (> 128 characters).
First, delete the hyperlink from presentation A.
Create a test folder in C:\.
Move presentation A and B into the folder.
Now, create the hyperlink on presentation A again and see if it works this
time round.
