The messaging interface returned an unknown error.

I keep getting this messages when trying to delete old
messages out of my inbox. "The messaging interface
returned an unknown error. If the problem persists please
restart Outlook." I have Outlook 2002 SP3 and have even
run scanpst.exe and found no errors. Any help you could
provide would be greatly appreciated
