The tops of letters are cut off on screen under microsoft pub

I can't doublespace the whole document like the help recomendation indicates.

Why would the application even allow just 1/2 of a letter to be shown.
Single spacing should at least show the text.

How can I work around this? or is there a different tool that I should be
using to publish a newsletter

Get a grip on yourself and explain just exactly what is happening. If you have
already typed in your text, highlight all of it and then on the menu, format,
paragraph, select your spacing.
Are you using a wizard?
