The word "confirmation" causes a bug in e-mail

Our company has noticed that if one types the word "confirmation" in the
subject line then tabs to the message, Outlook will start to initiate a
series for "enter" commands (it appears) and then one has to end the Outlook
Task in order for it to cease.

Has this happened in other companies?

No problem here. What version of Outlook?

And to add to Brian's comment, what custom add-in are you using as this is
not happening with Outlook without add-ins here.

After furious head scratching, DonMark asked:

Milly, I am using two diff. COM add-ins with my outlook 2003 and having no
problem with the word "confirmation". The sys-as from his company might have
added some add-in in outlook(dont know if its possible for sys-ads to do so)
which might not be visible to the users and it might be catching some events
from outlook2003 and causing the problem. Seems only possible reason.

The only add-in that i use personally is "lookout" but I don't know or think
that it is widely used in the firm. And I made a typo in my previous post
the word is "Confirmation" (it only happens if the 'c' is capitialized)

Thanks, knowing that it wasn't happening at other companies was enormously
helpful in narrowing down the problem. I appreciate the responses, using
that knowledge, I think I have honed in on the oneadayspy.exe software as the
culprit or at least part of the culprits.

Thanks again!

If it ain''''t broke...I''''m still working on it.
