"This identity cannot be opened with this version of Entourage "

Since upgrading to OS 10.3, Entourage X will not open. It will display
the error message "This identity cannot be opened with this version of
Entourage" and then close. Being new to Macs, I haven't taken any
steps to rectify this issue. I have searched online for a solution
but, though others have had a similar problem, I haven't found a
solution yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If any more info
is needed let me know.

Hi Eddie!

I'm not familiar with this problem, but you could try creating a new
identity in Entourage and importing your old identity. Since the import
is one way, if anything fails your old information should not be
affected. To be extra safe you can duplicate your old identity first.

You need to update your copy of entourage to the latest version. Download
the updaters from www.microsoft.com/mac

I suspect that when you re-installed office you didn't upgrade the
installation to match what had been running under OS X 10.2.x
