This identity cannot be used with this version of Entourage

I've read some of the other entries, but still could not find the
answer to my problem.

Just bought macbook- intel core duo, with OSX. I installed Office
2004, and all applications work except for Entourage. When I try to
use it i get the error message- "This identity cannot be used with this
version of Entourage" I am not very Mac savvy, so any information
would be helpful. Thank you

You need to upgrade Entourage. Under Help in the Menu bar select "Check for
Updates".

Thank you for your suggestion, but i cannot get into Entourage to
access the Menu bar.

Simply run Microsoft AutoUpdate in your Applications folder. The "Check for
Updates" menu will launch that program anyway, so there's no need to open
Entourage itself to perform any updates.
