At work I have used public folders to setup a threaded discussion area for
my division. I have all the views working and it seems to work very well
except for one thing. It is very slow when someone posts a message for
other users to see it. It can sometimes take up to 30 minutes seems and
this pretty much makes it unuseable for my purposes. I have talked to the
System Administrators and they said it is because it depends on the Exchange
Server that the user posting the message is on and the server the other
users are on. Replication can take up to 30-40 minutes worst case scenario!
Is there any way to fix this? Can a single public folder be hosted on one
server or some other solution? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
