I use three PCs and do not have the time to read e-mail
that I have previously read on another PC. Over the
weekend I migrated to Outlook Pro 2003 from Eudora.
Eudora has a setting that caused e-mail that had been
downloaded previously to be displayed as "Read" when
downloaded. In other words, the first time I downloaded
an e-mail to one PC it would be shown as "UnRead." Later
when I downloaded the same e-mail to another PC it was
marked as read.
The mail servers are POP not IMAP. The Eudora setting
caused later downloads of the same e-mail to display the e-
mail as "Read"
