Tickmark - Footnote

K

Keith D. Nielsen

A red [number 1 (one) inside of a circle] appears as an OVERLAY OBJECT on an
Excel spreadsheet that I received from someone else. The object contents
shows as:
PPCTickmark_9B6E-DB-E8-C63361D7
By pasting the same object at the bottom of the worksheet, I am able to
provide footnote information.

Is PPC an abreviation for Power Point Character?
How do I generate other numbers?

I have Power Point but don't have a clue as to how to use it.

I don't think the PPC-notation has anything to do with PowerPoint. You might
have better luck if you post your question in one of the Excel groups.
