I fairly regularly receive email messages from someone sending from a
windows PC.
Two of the headers are
X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2670
X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.2670
There is often a picture or logo in the top left of the message. It
seems to be inserted as a picture in-line with text. The picture is
approx 2 inches square with text wrapped to the right and below. All
this is as expected.
At least that is what it looks like in Apple Mail v2.0.5
BUT in Entourage 11.2.1 the message shows the picture repeated as a
tiled background often making the text largely unreadable (not always
the same picture). The picture is included as an attachment.
I don't want to eliminate pictures altogether by deselecting the
preference "show attached pictures". I also know I can delete the
attachment but I would really like to know how to make it show up as it
is intended ie one picture at top left of message with text wrapped
around it.
Why does Apple Mail show it correctly but not Entourage?
Can anyone help please? (Mac OS 10.4.4)
