Below is a formula for calculating the number of hours between Date1
and Date2, excluding weekends. How can I improve this formula to
further constrain the results to exclude non-business hours? If a
standard work day is 0600-1700 (6:00am - 5:00pm) how do I get the
formula to remove the non-business hours 1701-0559 (5:01pm-5:59am) from
the result?
FORMULA
Use the NETWORKDAYS function as follows:
=NETWORKDAYS(A2,B2)-1-MOD(A2,1)+MOD(B2,1)
Example:
Date1_______________Date2________________Result
4/4/2005 10:30______14/4/2005 19:12______200:42
