I guessing that the On Timer event isn't working because
your app keeps moving from form to form.
When you app starts, open a hidden form. In the hidden
form's On Open event, have it query the list of events
that you're watching and have it set the timer as needed.
When the timer triggers, it can simply send a msgbox or
open a pop-up form. As long as it remains running in the
background, it should continue to provide the listner
service you're looking for.
