A long while ago I wrote a program, to determine the winner
velocities of pigeon races in basic on an Amstrad , then translate
it into qbasic
I am now trying to do it with Exce
In the old program I had a weekday's loop , Fri. thru to Thu., tha
would return the No. of the day 1-7 or the name Fri-Th
ie If a clock was set on a fri at 7:30:00pm and a Setday of fri wa
entered and the time 193000 it would calculate the run of a cloc
from Set time to midnight in seconds ( 86400-70200 ) = 4.5 Hrs, thi
was the first day of the clock's run
Then I need to enter the release time and day, normally Sat 07:30am
A clock in time and day , the time recorded on the clock when th
bir
arrives home
The time allowed for races can be up to the sixth day, and th
correct arrival day has to be entered. The clock now has a run up t
then
To complicate it a bit more, each day has to have its sunset/sunris
entered
eg. ( If day=Fri. then day = 1 ). thru to (If day =Thu then day = 6 )
