Time zone issue has it been solved?

I just installed Entourage and I'm having the problem of appointments
showing up at the wrong time in the calendar view.

When you select the appointment the banner indicates that the time zone
where the appointment was created was different and Entourage has
adjusted the display time. The actual appoint time is correct.

I noticed that this problem was reported last April has there been fix
or reasonable work around?

Thanks,
Terry

Long ago. Update Office using Microsoft AutoUpdate or the updater
located at Mactopia.com.

The general fix for 2006, 2007 and later was "long ago". But it's only just
been fixed for the weeks between the new Daylight Savings Time start on
March 11 and whenever it was previously supposed to start in April, very
recently with 11.3.3.

Hmmm... I never saw the "Entourage has adjusted the display time"
notification in the banner for the DST bug - I thought it always failed
silently.

10.3.3 came out last week. I ran it last night and my appts now schedule at
the correct time.

Again, the OP didn't appear to be referring to the Daylight Savings Time
issue that 10.3.3 solves.

What's an OP?

I had the time zone problem in 11.3.2 and no longer have it 11.3.3.
Coincidence? Perhaps.

Original Post (or, alternatively, Poster) - the first post in the
thread. The OP's stated problem was

Nothing to do with the Daylight Savings Time issue (where the actual
appointment time was *incorrect*), and everything to do with a time zone
issue that was fixed in an earlier update. Hence the subject line.
I had the time zone problem in 11.3.2 and no longer have it 11.3.3.

Not a coincidence at all. 11.3.3 fixed the DST problem.

The Time Zone problem, though, was fixed long since in the earlier
update.
