Time Zone Problem?

M

Mattis

Hello
Since december 1st I have this funny error in all my calender events:
'event and computer and time zones do not match. In Calender views,
the event time has been adjusted to display correctly'.
Mac OSX 10.4.3
Entourage 11.2.1
Thanks

There are three places you want to check.
1. System Time Zone: In System Preferences, open Date & Time. And open Time
Zone tab
2. Entourage Time Zone: Entourage menu, Preferences command. And select
Calendar category
3. Event Time Zone: Open the event and click [Options] button, select "Time
Zone"

Are these all three the same time zone?

Yes we have all been asking about this for weeks with no reply.

All the time zones are the same. It started happening after the SP update I
believe.

Was the event sent by an exchange server that lives in a different time zone
to yourself?

The message appears before you send it. As soon as you create the event its
there. But the exchange server is in a different zone though.

So to clarify the even has the message even if it is being created just for
yourself not being sent to invitees.

There have been multiple threads about this. No one seems to have an
explanation. The 3 places to check are almost always the same (ie in sync).
It did not happen since the infamous recent SP. Nor did it happen when
winter-time set in. It¹s a very annoying bug that no one has been able to
solve. I¹m afraid you (and me, and MANY other) have to live with till some
other SP unintentionally will hopefully solve it.
