time zone problem

using microsoft office 2004 for mac, on a G5 OS 10.4.6.
Upon setting a new event in the calendar i get a yellow banner stating
that the

"event and computer time zones do not match. In Calendar views, the
event time is adjusted to display correctly."

I have tried resetting the time zone on the computer system preferences
and the entourage preferences, this doesn't seem to make a difference.
It effect all events, past, present and future. IS there a fix for this
problem?

(A) Look at the " Computer/event time zone mismatch after going to DST"
discussion, there is much talk about this problem.

(B) Nope, no solution known at the moment.

thanks for the link. Looks like i am not alone. Very sad that there is
not a fix for this problem.
