Time zones

Is there a way for the event I set to show up at the time I put it in??

Say I put in an appt in Australia for 5pm and then an appt for New York a
few days after for 5 pm. I would like my calendar to ALWAYS show the appts
at 5pm and not try to convert the times.

I know where I am and will be in the world and don't need the machines help.

Thanks

If that's really the case, then just enter all events at their real local
time, don't assign a time zone to them, and never change time zone in
Entourage or in System Preferences Date & Time. Just leave your computer
always functioning in your home base time. Since you know where you are and
possess a wristwatch and don't need your machine's help to tell you the
time, you'll be fine.

Just keep everything functioning as if you stay at home. Of course if anyone
sends you email "invitations" from another time zone and you accept them,
you'll have to change the time.

I guess the key is not changing the time in system preferences when I
travel. Bit of a pain as I find I take off my watch when I type a lot but
really, a pretty simple solution.

Thanks Paul
