Timescaled Data in Excel

I read thru the discussion boards and didn't find the answer I needed. I
want to use the timescaled data to analyze where my resources are spending
time (by week) for each project. I have multiple projects that are
consolidated into a Master project with my resources pooled.

Basically I liked to pull the Project, Resource Name based on a timescale.

If you want to do this in Excel, I think you will need to use Project 2007
(Reports/Visual Reports... then pull the Resource Tab to select the desired
report).

However, will the resource usage view provide you with what you need?

View/Resource Usage... You can have the right pane display hours and
dollars and it will provide totals. The right side shows work by default,
you can right click on that and select cost, or other important variables.
