I have two users who periodically find Outlook going into a bizarre
mode where it won't show the correct "Received" time until they read
the message, either by clicking on it with Preview Pane on or actually
opening it. As soon as they read the message, however, its Received
time is correctly updated and it jumps to the appropriate place in the
list of incoming messages.
Obviously this problem can be worked around by using something other
than Received time for sorting, but I'd like to figure out if there's
a fix?
The details of the client machine are:
Windows XP
Outlook XP 2002, SP3
Secure IMAP (port 993)
Our mail server is a FreeBSD machine running Postfix, Procmail,
SpamAssassin, and Courier-IMAP.
Thanks,
