TOC help

In my table of content I have tab setting at 1.5"
obviously in style. But, when some title let then 1.5" the
page number remains very close to title and everytime I
have to go and hit tab to push it at the end.

eg.
3. XXXXXX and YYYYYYY 12
3.1 XXXXXX 13
3.2 YYYYYYYY 13

Any help.

No matter how you set up the TOC styles in Word, it always wants to add its
own arbitrary tab sets, each level with a different tab set. But there is
light at the end of the tunnel. Toggle your TOC field to view its code. At
the end of the field code, type a "\w" switch. Toggle the view back to the
field result and update the field. The arbitrary tab sets should be gone.
