Hi,

I'm using Office 2000 Excel and would like to enter a date in the first
cell with it automatically comming up with a date 5 years later in the
next cell. How would I do this? If it's of any importance my Office 2000
at home is in English and at work (also 2000) is in German.

Try...

=DATE(YEAR(A1)+5,MONTH(A1),DAY(A1))

Hope this helps!

That seems to be working perfectly, thanks. I'll give it a try on my
work comp tomorrow..
