Does anyone know of a tool that will change the DOCTYPE of a
multiple set of documents ? Is FrontPage able to add a DOCTYPE
to a 100 pages ? Or add a line to the top of the page for 100 pages ?

With FP 2003 you can use Edit > Replace.

SHIFT + click on each file you want to replace it in and then Edit > Replace

Find what:

<html>

Replace with:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<html>

Click the Selected Page(s) radio button and then click Replace All

FrontPage 2003 already includes a DOCTYPE code snippet, and of course, you
can add your own as well.

What benefits are there to upgrading to FP 2003 over
FP 2002 ?
