Toolbar icons should be clear not blurry.

Humm, I don't think we are refering to the same thing. I'm talking the
Icons(shortcuts) that you click on to start an application. Your
refernce to "every toolbar" sounds like you are refering to the
"buttons" inside the application?

Did you ever figure out a way to do this other than re-drawing all the
bitmaps for the toolbar icons? The blurry icons in Office 2003 are really
annoying!

I never did find a way to resolve this; but did discover that the blurry
icons are part of the "new and improved" look of Office 2003. For this reason
we decided in our office to install Office 2002 as it has basically all the
same features and the toolbar icons are clear, not blurry.

I really hope Microsoft changes this in future versions but I would doubt it
since it seems to be the new look :(

The "new" operating system and the graphics are likely to make this
discussion moot, but have you tried adjusting the system display settings?

Ok, Im a tech and I have seen many installs of Office 2003 (from the same
source) do different things. On my particular installation, I have perfectly
clear icons, no problems at all, however, on a recent install I did, the
icons not only look blurry, but seem to be larger.

One thing that has to be noted though is that I am running Windows XP, while
the other computer in question is running Windows 2000.

As Office 2003 was released for use with XP this may have something to do
with it.

Hopefully some genius out there will work out how to fix it!

Saboath
