Tools - Find on 5,000 contacts SLOW

I have a user that has nearly 5,000 contacts and is
complaining that when he searhes his contacts, he cannot
click Stop because the system hangs. Also, he is
complaining that the searches are running really slowly as
of late, yet no changes have been made in Exchange 2000 or
Outlook 2002 on his PC. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. I'd love to find a way to speed up his
searches.

How do you delete extra folders from the address book.Which folders are you
talking about?
